DELIVERY, TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas delivers between 10am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Same day delivery is available for all orders placed before 12:30pm. Delivery is charged per delivery address, per customer, at the time of ordering.

All orders that are placed and are outside our Delivery Zone will be refunded. (Please Note we are Gold Coast based).

PLEASE NOTE: It is the obligation of the customer to make sure that the recipient’s FULL name and FULL delivery address are correct. If you provide us with an incorrect address and we deliver your order, as per your instructions, The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas accepts  no responsibility for the mistake.   Please double check! 

IF NO ONE IS HOME

If no-one is at the address to take the delivery, we will leave the flowers in a safe place. If there is no safe place to leave the flowers out of direct sun, or we are unable to get in to the property due to fencing, aggressive dogs etc, or incorrect/insufficient information provided we will try to call. If still unsuccessful, we will bring the flowers back to the shop. Once we get in contact with the customer, a re-delivery fee is required to be paid, or you can arrange for a pick up from the shop.

DELIVERY TIMES / BUSINESS ADDRESS

Delivery times cannot be guaranteed, especially during busy times, but if you have any requests (such as they leave work by 4pm for example) please leave a comment in "notes" at check out.

SCHOOL, OFFICE, HOSPITAL etc RECEPTIONS

The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas accepts no responsibility for delivered items that are accepted by the front desk, reception, concierge or security person.

DELIVERY TO APARTMENTS

We will contact recipient to ensure they are home prior to delivery. If contact can not be made we will contact sender and wait for instructions.

DELIVERY TO HOSPITAL

Where possible we will deliver to room. if this is not allowed by the hospital, flowers will be left at reception.

CARD MESSAGE

In regards to internet orders, customers should ensure that their personalised message is written to their satisfaction. The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas accepts no responsibility for incorrect spelling, grammar. Emojis will not be included in card messages as they are hand written.

ALCOHOL

By law, alcohol cannot  be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years or  left unattended. Should no-one over the age of 18 be home at the delivery address, the order will be returned to the shop. If redelivery is needed a redelivery fee will be charged.

​SATURDAY’S, SUNDAY’S AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas does delivery Saturdays but does NOT deliver Sundays, If your delivery fall on a public holidays, we will deliver your order on the next business day.     

 REFUNDS & WARRANTY

The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas does not offer refunds. If you are unsatisfied with the quality or lifespan of the flowers, please contact us at thebirdcage4209@icloud.com We may ask for photos as proof, this is so we can contact our suppliers and let them know of quality issues. You can expect your flowers to last between 4-7 days. Flowers can last longer under the proper care. We urge you to contact us if you require any assistance.

CANCELATION OF ORDERS

Should you need to cancel your order, money will be refunded less a $15 administrative fee, ONLY IF notice is received by The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date.

Please note, if you do not receive an email confirmation, your order has not been processed. 

The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas will make every effort to make sure your beautiful, fresh blooms arrive safely.

 

SUBSTITUTION POLICY


All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute some of the contents or packaging with an item of equal or greater value. The substituted items will closely match the original choice. Should we feel that the order cannot be processed due to lack of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative.
